Simply Theatre is proud to present our next production in Calgary,
Murdered to Death, by Peter Gordon
At the Joyce Doolittle Theatre

A hilarious spoof of the best of Agatha Christie traditions is set in a country manor house in the 1930s, with an assembled cast of characters guaranteed to delight and who are all caught up in the side-splitting antics which follow a mysterious death. It soon becomes clear that the murderer isn't finished yet, but will the murderer be unmasked before everyone else has met their doom, or audiences die laughing first?

Great Stories. Brilliant Actors
Simply Theatre is proud to present
our next production in Calgary,
Inherit the Wind
by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee
At the Victor Mitchell Theatre

Simply Theatre will follow up their tremendously successful production of She Kills Monsters with Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee’s gripping, relevant drama, inspired by the famous Scopes ‘Monkey’ Trial; Inherit the Wind. The shows stay true to the mandate of Simply Theatre "Great Stories! Brilliant Actors"!
One of the most outstanding dramas of our time, INHERIT THE WIND is as rousing and relevant today as it was in 1955. Two legal titans confront each other in a small-town courtroom with the eyes of an entire nation upon them. The accused? A high school teacher. His crime? Teaching evolution. Loosely based on the real-life Scopes Monkey Trial, INHERIT THE WIND is an edge-of-your-seat legal drama and a riveting look at the age-old conflict between science and faith

Award winning actors Greg Spielman and Dorin McIntosh will lead the large cast playing Matthew Harrison Brady and Henry Drummond loosely based on William Jennings Bryan and Clarence Darrow the rival attorneys in the Scopes Monkey Trial. Further casting will be announced soon via our Facebook page and our website.
